Our PTA is strong because our parents are active and give generously of their time, resources and talents. We are also fortunate to attend a school that welcomes parental involvement.
As we wind down one amazing school year and begin to plan another, we ask you to think about ways to get involved. There are so many different ways to engage. From a regular commitment as part of a committee to becoming a parent leader on the Exec Board to dedicating a few hours (or less!) to help with a particular event.
The bottom line is whatever your time allows, there is a way to be meaningfully involved with the PTA and PS199. We have over a dozen active committees that do everything from help our school and children be more environmentally aware to supporting the less fortunate in our community to planning our major events.
Being involved has enriched our family’s PS199 experience and we know it will enrich yours.
