There are so many ways to help the school with your time.
Join an event or a committee and help out with your talents, professional skills, or creativity.
Sign up on the school's internal communications platform or contact the PTA for more information.
Executive Board - A team of dedicated parents and teachers who meet to plan community and fundraising events, raise and manage money to support the school, and advocate for parents and children.
Senior Leadership Team - A team of parents and teachers who plan academic programming and events that support the teachers.
New Families Welcome Committee - A committee that plans the June welcome school visit, buddies summer playdates, and fall picnics.
Community Cares - A parent committee that donates time and items to people in need, plans drives and volunteer opportunities.
STEM - A parent committee that brings science awareness and education to the students and community.
Bake Sale - Normally held on Election day where families bake or buy baked goods to sell to voters and raise money for theschool
Fundraising - A committee that plans a number of events each year to raise money, e.g. spring carnival, walk-a-thon, book fair, wine tasting, exercises classes.
School Store - A committee that designs, procures, and markets merchandise and apparel with the school logo, organizes spirit days.
Diversity - A committee that plans cultural events including a food fair, and read alouds throughout the year.
Garden - A committee that maintains and enhances the grounds around the school, weeding, planting and landscaping.
Gala - An annual event to fundraise for the school. There is a live auction, class art projects, and a silent auction.
Fall and Spring Carnival - Events where parents volunteer to host fun activities and booths where children play games and do crafts.
Fifth Grade Graduation and Yearbook - A committee that plans events around graduation and designs and executes a yearbook.
