Afterschool Programs

The PS 199 PTA's program partners offer the school community an array of excellent afterschool and enrichment programs inside the school premises. They bring fun and exciting activities to keep the children active and engaged everyday. Our basic afterschool program is run by Sports and Stuff who provides arts and craft, sports, cooking, science projects, yard time, and games for students staying after school until 6 pm. Additional enrichment classes, such as chess by the NY Scholastic Chess Club, are also available during the afterschool program period. Programs for the fall of 2023 are listed below. The afterschool programs are independent of PS 199 elementary school and are only available to existing PS 199 students. Seats are limited. Program fees and enrollment window are released every summer, winter, and spring.
