Each year, the generosity of PS199 families, sponsors, alumni, and friends allows us to create exceptional opportunities and experiences for our students. Their participation and sponsorship in our fundraising campaigns help raise the critical funds that supplement the annual school budget from New York City and New York State. These additional funds power our specialty classes and enrichment programs, and provide our educators the essential tools and resources to teach and inspire our students. Family giving has been a steadfast tradition of PS199 families that underpinned our reputation for excellence and success for the past 60 years. Every contribution, however small, helps our school continue the many programs that our educators and families had worked so hard to secure and develop over the years. Together, our collective participation in family giving ensures our school's ongoing excellence and enables us to bring wonderful new programs to our students. We welcome your support because every gift makes a difference. The PS199 PTA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Contributions are tax-deductible. Our treasury will issue you a receipt after they process your donation. Many employers also offer to match charitable contributions. Please contact your employer's human resources office to obtain the necessary documents and send them to our PTA treasurers.
