Winter Chess Festival

We’re excited to announce our upcoming Winter Chess Festival at PS199 on Saturday, December 14! This fun-filled event will give our kids and their families the chance to learn how to play chess, learn about chess history and take dives into the world of chess with a variety of activities that cater to all interests and skill levels.

Alongside our main chess play event for kids, we’ll have a Chess Puzzle Dash to challenge problem-solving skills and Checkmate Challenge Team Matches for a fun, collaborative experience! Plus, there will be arts and crafts activities where students can create their own chess-themed crowns and have a photo booth to take pictures and Chess Play Matches for parents to show off their checkmate skills!
