Event Details
Students in grades K–5 will take part in our annual PS199 Halloween Parade. If you prefer that your child not participate, please notify your child’s teacher as soon as possible. Teachers will lead their classes outside for the parade at 9:00 AM, so please be sure your child arrives on time. Learners should come to school already dressed in their costumes. As a reminder, face masks and toy weapons are not permitted. Families are warmly invited to cheer from the sidewalks (see Konstella for the parade route). To help the parade flow smoothly, please stand on one side of narrow sidewalks and leave space for the students to pass. Noisemakers, music, and cheerful encouragement are welcome as we celebrate together. Please know that if the weather does not cooperate we will cancel the parade.
