Event Details
Before we step into the summer, let's gather one last time to celebrate everything we’ve grown together, both in the garden and throughout the school year. Harvest fresh carrots, radish, cilantro, garlic and kale straight from our garden. Then rock and revel to a special live performance by Rolie Polie Guacamole - an award-winning kindie rock band from Brooklyn. Garden opens at 9am and the 45-minute concert begins at 10am. All are welcome to harvest before and after the show. Check out our new garden page to see what we are growing. Let's make this an end of school year celebration to remember!
This is a free PTA event and open to friends and families of the PS199 community. RSVP and drop in anytime. Volunteers welcome. Stay as long as you wish before closing time. Remember to dress accordingly for gardening. Bring garden gloves if you have them. Gardening tools will be provided by the PTA - or bring your own!
This is not a drop-off event. All children must be supervised by an adult. Please review Garden Policies before your visit. In case of rain, the concert will be in the auditorium. Contact Sherri Han via Konstella or email at garden@ps199pta.org for any questions.
